WHAT WE OFFER
TO THE NORTH OF ENGLAND

For organisations in Manchester, Liverpool and throughout the North of England and beyond, the BWYS Adult EDI training programme focuses on equipping your colleagues to challenge instances of discrimination and implement positive change.

The two soft skills to do this are staples of our training programme:

Understanding it and;
Handling it confidently

This is with an end goal of the Champions delivering sessions to their wider teams to share learning and create a truly inclusive working environment that expands your organisation's EDI responsibilities and projects.

The Champions will receive training in Anti-Racism, LGBTQIA+ awareness, Neurodiversity awareness and the role of Active Bystanders. This training is tailored directly to the sector that your organisation sits within. Then, participants will work with the Be What You See Team to transform this learning into sessions they will deliver to your organisation.

HOW WE DELIVER EDI PROGRAMMES IN THE NORTH OF ENGLAND

All training can be delivered at your offices & locations.
Our packages work best with in-person delivery styles. Hybrid options can be discussed.
Typically, the EDI Champions programme takes place over a 12 month period
- During those 12 months, BWYS trainers will cover all four themes.
- However, we are able to do bespoke packages on a reduced timescale.
We can also deliver single theme packages.
- PLEASE NOTE: Every theme package must include Active Bystander Training.

WHO IS THE TARGET AUDIENCE FOR ADULT EDI CHAMPIONS TRAINING?

Each cohort of EDI Champions has up to 10 employees from your organisation.
We work with all employees across organisations
We've discovered that the Adults EDI Champions programme works best when there is a mix of roles and seniority in a cohort.
However, the Adults EDI Champions programme will be especially impactful to those who are committed to building a career in Equity, Diversity and Inclusion with a passion for their continued professional development in this area.
